SOLD/3003. Crimea 1854-56, four bars Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol. I. STREET. GR & DR. 11th BTN. RL ARTY. (Officially Impressed) 2049 Isaac Street born 1821 Gorton, Manchester. Attested 14.1.1842 as Gunner & Driver, promoted Bombardier 3.2.1849, imprisoned 18.6.1852 & reduced to Gnr. & Dvr., served Jamaica, Turkey & Crimea, received a Crimea Medal with 4 bars & Turkish Crimea only, court martialled once & 3 times in Regt. defaulters book (so no L.S.G.C. missing), discharged 15.9.1863. Copy Discharge papers & Medal Roll (No. 3 Co., 11th Btn., F Bty., Royal Artillery) for 1st 3 bars, cant find Sebastopol bar but 4 named Crimea bars confirmed on papers. V.F. SOLD

SOLD/3029. India General Service 1854-95 one bar PERSIA. GUNNER J. MORRISON, ARTILLERY. James Morrison, born Kerry, Rothsay, Scotland 1816. Enlisted by Max Axford at Liverpool 12.8.1840 aged 24. Embarked for Bombay Presidency aboard the ship 'Simon Taylor'. Arrived in India 20.2.1841. Returned to England aboard 'Assaye' docking 29.7.1861, discharged to Pension 10.8.1861 having served 22 years. His only medal the Persia I.G.S. Copies from Bombay Army muster rolls, Depot description books, L/MIL/9/100 Ships, L/MIL10/302 Discharge - ships returned on. Dark toned N.E.F. SOLD

SOLD/2962. Edw. VII Africa General Service 1902-56, 3 bars Aro 1901-02, N. Nigeria 1903, N. Nigeria 1904. 301 PTE. ABUDU KANIKE, LAGOS BN. W.A.F.F. Copy roll for Aro & N. Nigeria 1903 bars, can't find N.N. 1904 but as dates in sequence seems O.K. Note :-Aro bar a contemporary copy (I presume) as should say Aro 1901-1902. Copy 2 x Medal Rolls. G.V.F. SOLD
